Dancing the Sun Up on Eastbourne seafront on the 1st MayDancing the sun up on the 1st of May is a traditional Morris event that goes back centuries.

In 2008, Hunters Moon Morris will again be blacking up and donning tatters, top hats and sticks to dance the sun up over the sea.

For all those who wish to join us in starting the May Day celebrations you will find us at the furthest west point of Eastbourne's seafront promenade, close to the café.

Sunrise is at 5.24am.
